The United Way School Readiness Program, also known as Ready for School, Ready to Succeed, is a comprehensive initiative designed to prepare children for their first day of school. The program offers free virtual and in-person workshops for children ages 3 to 5 and their families to help them enter school ready to succeed and read proficiently by 3rd grade. The PCCA Visiting Artist Program takes local artists into Perry County pre-schools to deliver arts-focused classroom discussions and educational project experiences to young learners. The program strives to connect area students with local artists to learn about opportunities in the arts and experience various media. Age-appropriate projects and activities follow based on the artist’s discussion.
Year-Long
