Completed for and published in the Curated Quilts Journal, Issue 8, 2019 “Well Said” Mini Quilt Challenge, “House Rules” is an art quilt measuring 16 by 15.5in made from 100% Kona cotton solids and black and white prints. Inspiration for the “House Rules” mini quilt came from the color inspiration of the “Well Said” quilt challenge as well as the popular house rules posters. Speaking to the values that should be represented not only in the home, but the community at large, the mini quilt spells out in bold black die and hand cut letters those values most representational of a loving home and supportive community which we should all hope to build and flourish within.
