This week would like to highlight one of my favorite versions of my popular Patchwork Minky Blankets. The Lake Tahoe minky blanket has all of the features of this collection, including patchwork square piecing creating a dynamic patchwork effect, a tight color pallet and theme of woodland and geometric prints in a soft taupe, cream, white, aqua tones, and pops of orange and yellow. The minky backing on this one is a deliciously soft gray minky swirl. My daughter is in love with the texture of the minky swirl, and asked if she can have the backing on her next blanket be similar. Finished with a wide horizontal grid stitching to reinforce the top and edges, the blanket measures 40.5″x 55.5″ (103x 141 cm).
